BloggHer is back ! Just on time for my second birthday !

BloggHer ritorna online ! E ritorna puntualmente per il secondo compleanno !
Sono passati più di quattro mesi, lo so. Sono stati mesi difficili, impegnativi ma anche pieni di bellissime novità !
BloggHer ritorna sicuramente in modo un po' diverso: ci saranno sempre le ultime tendenze di moda e di make up, le sfilate e le più belle ad campain, la rubrica femminile "Take a look at her look" e quella maschile "From ... with ...". Ma il blog sarà impostato di più su Lifestyle e su Made in Italy con un forte legame al mio nuovo lavoro e di conseguenza anche agli eventi ai quali parteciperò ! E poi ho deciso finalmente di "metterci la faccia" ! 

BloggHer is back online ! And I return just on time for the second birthday !
It's been more than four months, I know. And these months have been difficult, challenging but also full of wonderful news !
BloggHer will be definitely back in a somewhat different way: there will always be the latest trends in fashion and make up, the catwalk reports, fashion shows and the most beautiful ad campains, the feminine column "Take a look at her look" and the male column "From .. . with ... ". But the blog will be set out more about Lifestyle and Made in Italy with a strong link to my new job and consequently to the events I will take part ! And then I finally decided to "put a face to the name !" 

Qualcuno potrebbe essere dell'opinione che è poco professionale creare un legame tra il proprio blog ed il lavoro. Invece credo che nel mio caso è proprio il contrario: è per merito del mio blog e della mia presenza sui social network che mi è stata offerta l'opportunità di fare parte di questa azienda e del fantastico progetto di "Italian Excellence - Luxury in the World" al quale io collaboro da metà giugno ormai !  All'interno del nostro staff io mi occupo prevalentemente dei social network e di comunicazione, ma sono coinvolta anche in tutti gli eventi e progetti. Spiegato in una sola frase: Italian Excellence - Luxury in the World raccoglie l'eccellenza italiana e la promuove nei più importanti mercati mondiali !

Instead, I believe that in my case it is just the opposite: it was thanks to my blog and my presence on social networks that I was offered the opportunity to be part of this company and the fantastic project "Italian Excellence - Luxury in the World" to whom I collaborate from mid-June now ! Within our staff I deal mainly with social networks and communication, but I'm also involved in all the events and projects. Briefly explained: Italian Excellence - Luxury in the World collects italian excellence and promotes it in the most important markets of the world !

E' un lavoro emozionante che mi permette di essere tutti i giorni a stretto contatto con l'eccellenza italiana, con realtà, aziende e designer dell'artigianato di altissima qualità e del Made in Italy. Per questo motivo "si sposa" alla perfezione con il mio blog e avrò il piacere di presentarvi alcuni designer anche in questa sede.

It's an exciting job that allows me to be every day in close contact with the italian excellence, with enterprises, companies and designers of highest quality handcraft and Made in Italy. For this reason it "fits" perfectly with my blog and I will have the pleasure to introduce some of the designers also here.

Una lunga pausa, più di tre mesi ...
Una pausa di riflessione ma anche la necessità di concentrarmi per un periodo sulla "vita vera" e di cominciare una nuova attività lavorativa !  
Nei prossimi giorni tornerà vivo il blog: in veste nuova, con nuovi progetti, nuove collaborazioni, nuovi brand da presentare e nuove storie da raccontare. 
E per la prima volta ci metto pure la faccia ...

Premessa: Se non avessi conosciuto lei probabilmente non avrei aperto il blog !
La nostra storia è la prova che nell'era di Internet un'amicizia può nascere e crescere in rete. Un incontro casuale a San Gimignano, il seguirsi su Facebook, il contatto quotidiano in rete, l'importanza della presenza, di un "Mi piace", di un commento, di un complimento, di una parola di conforto. Il confronto quotidiano con la SUA grande creatività mi ha fatto riflettere fino ad arrivare alla conclusione che nella MIA vita lavorativa ma anche personale avevo sempre solo eseguito, non avevo mai creato qualcosa. 
Oggi Cassandra ed io siamo legate da una profonda Amicizia con la A maiuscola, caratterizzata da grande stima e grande affetto. 

I want to start by saying that if I had not known her probably I would not have created my blog ! 
Our story is the proof that in Internet era a friendship can be born and grow up "online". After a randon meeting in San Gimignano we follow each other on Facebook, our daily contact in the network, the importance of being there always present, the importance of a "Like", a comment, a compliment, a word of comfort. The daily confrontation with HER great creativity made ​​me think coming to the conlusion that in MY working life I had only ever carried out, I had never created anything.
Today, Cassandra and I are bound by a deep Friendship with a capital F, characterized by high esteem and great affection.

La biografia di Cassandra Juliette Wainhouse si legge come un romanzo moderno: nata in Francia, vive e lavora in Italia da trent'anni. Si è diplomata in Agricoltura Biodinamica in Inghilterra, ha studiato arte e grafica in Inghilterra, Francia e negli USA, si è diplomata in pedagogia Steineriana a Parigi. 
Nel 1991 si stabilisce a San Gimignano dove apre la propria galleria d'arte Atelier Novalis. 
Tra le sue attività più importanti ci sono l'illustrazione e la creazione di libri per l'infanzia e la pittura didattica e da tanti anni le proprie collezioni di quadri esposti in Italia e con grande successo soprattutto in Finlandia e negli USA.

The biography of Cassandra Juliette Wainhouse seems a modern novel: born in France, she lives and works in Italy since thirty years. She graduated in Biodynamic Agriculture  in England, she studied art and graphics in England, France and in the U.S., she graduated in Steiner pedagogy in Paris. In 1991 she moved to San Gimignano, where she opened her own art gallery Atelier Novalis. Among her most important activities are the illustration and the creation of children's books and educational didactic painting and since many years her collections of paintings exhibited in Italy and with great success especially in Finland and the U.S..

Negli ultimi due anni è stata impegnata maggiormente nelle sue collezioni "No Man's Land" sulla figura e sul nudo femminile e "Silence Spoken" sperimentando nuove tecniche di pittura e l'utilizzo di un mix di "media".

Stranamente e me ne rendo conto solo ora, pur essendo amiche, non parliamo quasi mai dei suoi quadri (parliamo di scarpe, quello si !).
Il mio concetto personale di arte è legato molto all'impatto visivo del "bello" e del "sorprendente". Le opere di Cassandra Juliette Wainhouse con questo forte legame all'esistenza ed alla natura rappresentano per me un'arte tangibile, comprensibile ed allo stesso tempo sorprendente: scoprire il rosso perfetto del melograno, la forma perfetta del limone, gli spazi scuri da interpretare nelle "Opere al Nero", osservare il gioioso utilizzo dei colori, dei materiali pregiati come le foglie di oro, argento e rame, del media mix.

My personal concept of art is very tied to the visual impact of  "beautiful" and "unexpected". The works of Cassandra Juliette Wainhouse with this strong bond to existence and to nature represent to me a tangible, understandable and at the same time unexpected art: discovering the perfect red of a pomegranate, the perfect form of a lemon, interpreting the dark spaces in "Opere al Nero", observing the joyous use of colors, of high-quality materials like gold, silver and copper leaves, of the media mix.

Happy 1st Birthday ! Buon 1° BloggHe(r)anno !

Gli amici del mio Boston Terrier Don Juan de Marco aka Nino mi hanno cantato questa piccola serenata per il 1° compleanno di BloggHer women's kaleidoscope.

The friends of my Boston Terrier Don Juan de Marco aka Nino sang that cute serenade for BloggHer women's kaleidoscope's 1st birthday. 




Per prima cosa devo dire che nell'anno passato non ho avuto il tempo necessario da dedicare al blog. Come alcuni di voi sanno la nascita del blog è andata a pari passo con il progetto lavorativo dell'uomo-chauffeur, colui che grazie a me è comunque più famoso di me ... ed il suo progetto aveva assoluta precedenza e priorità. E' stato un'anno difficile e durissimo. Ma abbiamo seminato, l'uomo-chauffeur da fine luglio sta raccogliendo i primi piccoli frutti e ci auguriamo di poter consolidare tutta la situazione entro la fine del 2013. Io mi auguro di trovare più tempo per il blog , di avere la testa più sgombra e di potermi anche muovere un po' in Italia.  

First of all I have to admit that in the first year I did not have enough time to dedicate to the blog. As some of you know the birth of the blog has gone hand in hand with a project of my chauffeur-man, who thanks to me is however more famous than me ... and his project had absolute precedence and priority. It has been a difficult and hard year. But we sow, my chauffeur-man from the end of July is reaping the first small fruits and we hope to consolidate the whole situation by the end of 2013. I hope to find more time for the blog, to have less jungle in my head and the opportunity to move a bit in Italy. 

Nell'anno passato ho scoperto e letto dei blog bellissimi di grande qualità e ho conosciuto dei blogger molto bravi, professionali e molto interessanti. Persone che mi hanno aiutato, stimolato e sostenuto. Ma ho visto anche dei blog assurdi, incredibile spazzatura ed incomprensibile auto-celebrazione. 
Io sono straniera ma mi impegno moltissimo a scrivere un italiano corretto ed a fornire una discreta traduzione in inglese, sempre consapevole che il mio italiano non è perfetto ed il mio inglese, mio malgrado, soltanto scolastico. Qualche volta leggo dei blog affermati e famosi e mi vengono i brividi per quanto viene violentata la lingua italiana e per quanto ci si affida ad una ridicola traduzione tramite il Google traduttore !  (ciao a tutti = hello to all ...)   

In the past year I discovered and read beautiful and high-quality blogs and I knew some strong, professional and very interesting bloggers. People who have helped me, encouraged and supported me. But I've also seen absurd blogs, incredible trash and incomprehensible self-celebration.
I am a foreigner but I make so much effort to write a proper italian and to proveide a decent translation into english, always aware that my italian is not perfect and my english, unfortunately, only scholastic. Sometimes I read established and famous blogs and I shudder how they "rape" the italian language and how they rely on a ridiculous translation through Google translator ! (ciao a tutti = hello to all ...)

Non è facile crescere un blog o farlo addirittura decollare con centinaia di blog in Italia. Il rischio di diventare banale, commerciale , di copiare consapevolmente ma anche inconsapevolmente da altri blog e di scrivere quello che hanno già scritto altri è altissimo.
Ho ricevuto molti complimenti: quando giudicate il mio blog bello, interessante, originale, che vi faccio sognare e che vi faccio ridere io sono felice ! Mi impegnerò ancora di più ad essere originale, interessante, diversa e pertanto libera. 
Vi ringrazio per il vostro interesse, per la fedeltà e per l'affetto. E vi prego di andare avanti a commentare, a scrivermi perché la vostra opinione per me è fondamentale. Seguitemi sui social network dove possiamo dialogare, confrontarci e socializzare e sparare cazzate.

Scent of a woman #1 my perfumes.

Una cara amica nonché lettrice del blog mi ha fatto presente che non ho ancora presentato nessun profumo. Il motivo è semplice: ne uso sempre uno solo.
Non ho la fila di profumi nel mio boudoir e quando acquisto in profumeria rifiuto il 99% dei campioncini che mi vogliono rifilare. Non ho mai avuto il profumo per l'estate o per l'inverno, per il giorno o per la sera, per il tempo libero o per un'occasione speciale. Il profumo che scelgo o meglio che mi conquista mi accompagna per un preciso periodo della mia vita perché in quel periodo mi rappresenta al meglio. 
I profumi usati nella mia vita sono veramente pochi e li ho sempre usati per parecchio tempo, addirittura per anni:

Lady Million è il mio profumo attuale, lo uso ormai da quando è uscito nel 2010.
Io non sono un tipo elegante o particolarmente femminile, sono una mancata rocker ed anche un po' maschiaccio. Il fatto strano è che ho sempre usato questi profumi femminili, eleganti, forti, con una decisa personalità. Col passare del tempo ho scelto sicuramente dei profumi sempre più elaborati, più complessi e più sofisticati. Probabilmente adesso ci sarà un altro cambiamento perché per il mio compleanno in inverno è arrivato quello che io considero veramente un sogno: 

Lady Million is my current perfume, I use it now since it came out in 2010.
I'm not elegant o particularly feminine, I'm a failed rocker and also a little tomboy. The strange thing is that I have always used these feminine perfumes, elegant, strong, with an assertive personality. Over time I have chosen perfumes certainly more elaborated, more complex and more sophisticated. Perhaps now there will be another change because for my birthday in winter has arrived what I consider truly a dream:

E' stato un colpo di fulmine, amore "al primo respiro" ! Non ho mai sentito qualcosa di così sofisticato e con così tante sfaccettature. E' impegnativo da indossare. Dedicherò un altro post a questo capolavoro, merita una presentazione dettagliata.   

It has been a bolt of lightning, love at "first breath" ! I've never smelt something so sophisticated and with so many facets. It is serious to wear. I will dedicate another post to this masterpiece, it deserves a detailed presentation. 

Ma probabilmente per la prima volta nella mia vita userò due profumi contemporaneamente. Lady Million rappresenta un periodo importante della mia vita: il lento uscire dal guscio dopo la scomparsa dei miei genitori, una lenta rinascita, la decisione su cosa fare della mia vita fino alla ricerca di una mia creatività, anche con l'apertura del blog. Elie Saab invece mi porta alla ricerca della femminilità che voglio sviluppare perché adesso è arrivato il momento di farlo ! Allora probabilmente da adesso in avanti mi accompagneranno queste due fragranze sul cammino della continua evoluzione.

So from now on these two fragrances will probably accompany me on the path of continuous evolution.

Il mio rapporto con il computer è da definirsi conflittuale, da sempre. Finché funziona tutto bene ... ma il minimo imprevisto mi butta in una profonda crisi esistenziale. E non sopporto che il mio computer mi da ordini ... non dovrebbe mica fare solo quello che dico io ?

"No, cazzo, adesso no, sto pubblicando un post e dovrei riavviare il computer ? Ma sei scemo ? Ti riavvio quando cazzo c'ho voglia io !"
Ma non lo penso soltanto, lo dico ad alta voce, perché io al mio computer gli parlo, lo insulto e lo minaccio.
"Se non carichi la foto dove dico io giuro che ti trombo, ma forte !"
E' l'unica arma che ho. E quando fa il bravo e non si impappina in continuazione quando carico 4 milioni di foto sul blog gli faccio i complimenti.
"So, fein, bravo tati, dopo ti do una bella pulita e ti faccio un bel back up, vero ciccipucci ?!" 
Forse il mio rapporto col computer sarebbe meno conflittuale se fosse più femminile ... più rosa ... più ... vediamo cose offre il mercato !

Senza offesa ! Anch'io sono castano chiaro / biondo cenere tipicamente tedesco. Intanto mi indica chiaramente tutti i tasti inutili (useless keys), poi è rosa e poi è troppo divertente !
