From Russia with talent and style: Elissey Kostsov.

Scusate donne, pronunciate soltanto il nome: Elissey ...
Premetto che io adoro la Russia, la lingua russa, questi incredibili paesaggi e so a memoria le prime due strofe di "Kalinka", canzone russa più famosa di tutti i tempi. Il mio amore nasce presto, quando ero piccola in Germania trasmettevano questa fiction su "Mikhail Strogoff", il corriere dello zar che ha attraversato la Russia da Mosca fino ad Irkutsk ed io ero con lui ! 

Proprio in Russia, ed aveva solo qualche anno in più di un "enfant prodige", Elissey Kostsov diventa Fashion Coordinator di ELLE Russia nel 2005 e ha ... 18 anni ! 
Nel 2006 prosegue la sua carriera come Junior Fashion Editor della VOGUE Russia e nel 2007 si unisce come Fashion Editor ad un nuovo team per lanciare CITIZEN K Russia e per diventare nell'anno successivo il suo Fashion Director a solo 21 anni. Nel 2009 passa come Fashion Director a MARIE CLAIRE Russia. 
Recentemente Elissey Kostsov ha abbandonato la editoria della moda e si dedica a progetti d'arte indipendenti, manifesti per teatri e come direttore creativo a campagne pubblicitarie, sfilate e shooting commerciali per le quali collabora con i fotografi russi di arte e moda più famosi del mondo. E' riconosciuto per il suo stile innovativo e provocatorio ... ed è anche un personaggio parecchio discusso !

I would like to start by saying that I love Russia, Russian language, these incredible landscapes and I know by heart the first two strophes "Kalinka", the most famous Russian song ever. My love is born early, when I was growing up in Germany in television there was transmitted this fiction of "Mikhail Strogoff", the courier of the czar who passed through Russia from Moscow to Irkutsk and I was up with him !

Just in Russia, and he had only a few years more than an "enfant prodige", Elissey Kostsov becomes Fashion Coordinator of ELLE Russia in 2005 and ... he is 18 years old !
In 2006 he continues his career as Junior Fashion Editor of VOGUE Russia and in 2007 he joins a new team in order to launch CITIZEN K Russia as Fashion Editor and to advance to the position of Fashion Director within a yeat at the the age of 21. In 2009 he passes as Fashion Director to MARIE CLAIRE Russia.
Recently Elissey Kostsov has abandoned is work at fashion magazines and is dedicated to independent art projects, theatre billboards and as creative director to advertising campaigns, runway shows and commercial shootings for which he cooperates with world's most famous Russian photographers of art and fashion. He is especially recognized for his innovative and provocative styling ... and he is also a very discussed celebrity !

Stella Jean SS 2013. Collezione senza tempo. Timeless collection.

Come di consueto stavo indagando su Internet per un post e poi ne scrivo un'altro !
E' troppo tardi ormai per presentare una collezione primavera / estate 2013 ? Effettivamente sarebbe troppo tardi se non si trattasse di un capolavoro che non ha stagioni da rispettare, di una collezione senza tempo. Non è legata all'anno 2013, ne a tendenze, ne a che cosa va di moda adesso. Questa collezione di Stella Jean, giovane stilista nata a Roma di origini caraibiche, ha qualcosa di infinito, di eterno, qualcosa che non passerà mai. 
Io ho cominciato a preparare questo post ieri (come annunciato su Facebook) ed oggi mi trovo in una situazione particolare perché proprio stamattina una coppia di famosi blogger hanno pubblicato un post su questa collezione di Stella Jean, tra l'altro copiando praticamente tale quale la sezione "About" del suo sito Internet. In un primo momento volevo rinunciare al mio post, invece lo pubblico con grande piacere, stima e grande gioia perché poche volte ho visto dei vestiti, dei colori, dei tessuti, degli accessori e degli abbinamenti così incredibilmente belli ed entusiasmanti. Non scrivo altro su Stella Jean, la collezione parla da se.

It 's too late to present a collection spring / summer 2013 ? Indeed it would be too late if it was not a masterpiece that has no season to be respected, a timeless collection.  It is not linked to the year 2013, nor to trends, nor to what is in fashion now. This collection of Stella Jean, a young designer born in Rome of Caribbean origins, has something infinite, eternal, something that will never pass away.
I started to prepare this post yesterday (as announced on Facebook) and today I'm in a special situation because just this morning a couple of famous bloggers have published a post on this collection of Stella Jean, inter alia practically copying the section "About" of her website. First I wanted to give up my post, instead I decide to public it with great pleasure, esteem and great joy, because only a few times I saw so incredibly beautiful and stimulating clothes, colors, fabrics, accessories and combinations. I will not write more about Stella Jean, the collection speaks for itself.

 
Questa sarà sicuramente l'ultima collezione primavera / estate 2013 che vi presenterò. 
Siamo ad agosto ormai, è ora di concentrarci sui trend per l'autunno / inverno 2013 / 2014 !

Il contributo musicale di luglio, a parte che è completamente fuori di testa come me in questo periodo, è molto significativo per il mese appena passato: il mio compagno, il famoso "uomo-chauffeur", dopo un'anno di patenti ed esami ha cominciato il suo nuovo lavoro e ha bisogno del mio sostegno e della mia assistenza. Questo fatto giustifica anche la mia assenza sul blog. Si lavora duramente "work hard" e si giocano tutte le carte "play hard" ...

Trendsetter #3 Summertime is Crochetime !

La prova costume (bikini drama) quest'anno non è andata bene ... niente di grave però visto che nel dubbio esistono i tanto odiati pareo che abbinati al bikini lo fanno diventare "burkini" ! 
Ben più grave che anche la prova crochet non è andata bene: con la mia fisicità che quest'anno assomiglia a Winnie the Pooh e con due braccia che provocano invidia anche a Rambo e Rocky Balboa ... welcome to the jungle !

Cosa ci ricorda il crochet ? Gli anni 60 e 70, icone di stile come Brigitte Bardot, Jane Birkin e Jacqueline Bisset, Ibiza e Saint Tropez, Hippie Flower Power e Boho Chic.
Il crochet ha avuto il suo revival già nell'anno scorso, quest'anno è stato presente in tante sfilate e dalle nuove tendenze pre spring 2014 si vedrà anche nell'anno prossimo.
Simbolo dell'estate e della freschezza, realizzato in cotone, viscosa o seta, la moda crochet è versatile e giovane, sia sulla spiaggia nelle beach club che urban-approved in città. Una freschezza sottolineata dalla realizzazione quasi esclusivamente in bianco, panna o beige. Durante la mia ricerca ho scoperto il motivo: il crochet colorato fa molto garden plaid della nonna e quello nero, che avrei anche preso in considerazione causa Winnie the Pooh ..., fa effettivamente molto vedova nera.

Symbol of summer and freshness, made ​​of cotton, rayon or silk, crochet fashion is versatile and sparkling, on the beach and urban-approved in the city. A freshness underlined by the realization almost exclusively in white, cream or beige. During my research I found out why: colorful crochet looks very much like grandmother's garden plaid and black crochet, which I also took in consideration because of my Winnie the Pooh body ..., looks actually very much like black widow.
