Mi fanno tenerezza, mi divertono, mi fanno ridere e ritorno ad essere bambina. Ottobre non è stato un mese divertente ... il mio Boston Terrier Nino non è stato bene e ho scoperto che ha l'artrosi. Io ho passato tutto il mese con mal di schiena e solo ieri ho scoperto che ... anch'io ho l'artrosi. Ho bisogno di relax, di vedere cose carine e cose belle e di ridere !

Well yes, it's Minions Mania !

They soften me up, they amuse me, they make me laugh and I return to be a girl. October has not been a good month ... my Boston Terrier Nino has not been well and I discoverd that he suffers from arthritis. I spent the whole month with back pain and just yesterday I discovered that I ... suffer from arthritis, too. I need to relax, to see nice and beautiful things and I need to laugh !

1959 Christin Dior brings fashion and elegance to Moscow.

1959 Christian Dior приносит моды и элегантности в Москву.

Vi ho già parlato del mio amore per la Russia qui e la mia passione per la moda mi sembra più che evidente. Immaginate la mia espressione quando ho visto su Facebook, postato dalla fantastica Signora Olga Rink, questa foto:

Nel 1959 Christian Dior è stato invitato a Mosca dal regime Khrushchev e ha portato 12 modelle e 120 delle sue creazioni. La decisione di dare la possibilità ai designer russi di imparare dai colleghi francesi era stata presa dal governo come dimostrazione di cambiamento, di rinnovamento, di progresso e di disgelo. Christian Dior era stato scelto per l'eleganza, per la classe e per la sobrietà dei suoi modelli che per questi requisiti venivano considerati "ideologicamente neutri" ... 
Le foto dello shooting ufficiale hanno fatto il giro del mondo e provengono dagli archivi di LIFE (Howard Sochurek).

In 1959, Christian Dior was invited to Moscow by the Khrushchev regime and brought 12 models and 120 of his creations. The decision to make it possible for russian designers to learn from their french colleagues had been taken by the Government as evidence of change, renewal,  progress and thaw. Christian Dior was chosen for the elegance, for the class and for the sobriety of his creations  for which these requirements were considered "ideologically neutral" ...
All these photos of the official shooting went around the world and come from the LIFE archives (Howard Sochurek).

Io sono rimasta profondamente colpita da queste foto: la capacità del fotografo di cogliere quel momento, quella espressione, la curiosità, lo stupore, questi due mondi così opposti che s'incontrano, ma più che ogni altra cosa queste meravigliose espressioni delle modelle e delle donne e fanciulle russe !  

 
I am deeply impressed by these pictures: the ability of the photographer to capture that moment, that expression, the curiosity, the amazement, these two so opposite worlds that meet, but more than anything else these wonderful expressions of the models and the russian women and girls !

Karl did it again ... Chanel collection spring/summer 2014.

Non potevo far finire la collezione di Chanel nel BEST OF ... troppo ingombrante ! Karl Lagerfeld è uscito con ben 90 modelli ... così ... en passant.
Premetto: io adoro Karl Lagerfeld, come stilista, come fotografo ma anche come persona. Recentemente ho visto un documentario di ben 4 ore su una rete tedesca ed è stata una panoramica fantastica sul suo lavoro con delle rivelazioni sorprendenti sulla sua persona ! Voi lo sentite König Karl nelle interviste in inglese o francese, sembra sempre un po' burbero quasi scocciato. Figuriamoci quando viene intervistato in tedesco ... Invece tutti, dalla modella più famosa al tecnico delle luci dicono che è una delle persone più gentili e più positivi al mondo, mai altezzoso, mai maleducato. Quando fa un complimento per un lavoro altrui (e l'altro giustamente è nel panico per essere giudicato da Karl) usa la domanda retorica "E' tutto molto bello, no ? Non trovi ?!"   
Negli ultimi anni lo vediamo esclusivamente con occhiali scuri, colletti altissimi e guanti. I segni del tempo non si nascondono ma diventano invisibile perché lui è senza tempo ormai. Immortale, geniale, insuperabile.   

I could not include the collection of Chanel in BEST OF ... too oversized ! Karl Lagerfeld has come out with 90 models  ... so ... en passant .I start by saying: I adore Karl Lagerfeld, as designer, as photographer but also as person. I recently saw a documentary of 4 hours on a german network and it was a fantastic overview of his work with some unexpected  revelations about his person ! You can hear him King Karl in interviews in english or french, he always seems a bit unfriendly almost annoyed . Immagine when he is interviewed in german ... Instead everyone from the most popular model at a lighting technician say that he is one of the kindest and most positive persons in the world, never arrogant , never rude. When he makes a compliment of someone's job (and this someone naturally is in panic to be judged by Karl) he uses the rhetorical question "It's all very nice, isn't it ? Don't you think so ?"In recent years we see him only with dark glasses, high collars and gloves. The signs of aging are not hidden but become invisible because he is ageless now. Immortal, genius, insuperable. 

La location della sfilata è una galleria d'arte di opere moderne firmate Chanel. Sfila il mondo Chanel, in versione pop fashion, che è molto di più di un logo, è il marchio di moda più conosciuto al mondo. I classici tailleur in tweed e bouclé in nuovi colori raggianti, forme lineare, gonne leggermente svasate, giacche e cappottini dalle proporzioni generose. Karl Lagerfeld rimane sempre fedele al DNA della Maison, ma per me questa collezione sa di incredibile innovazione !  

The location of the fashion show is an art gallery of modern art signed Chanel. A show of Chanel's world in pop fashion version, which is much more than a logo, it is the most well-known fashion brand in the world. The classic bouclé or tweed tailleur in radiant new colors, linear shapes and slightly flared skirts, generously proportioned jackets and short coats. Karl Lagerfeld remains faithful to the DNA of the Maison, but for me this collection tastes of incredible innovation !

Per gli accessori il ritorno dello zaino con logo spruzzato come un graffiti, borse in canvas con catena, mini purse in pelle color argento con catena, borse rigide in plexi con maxi logo, bracciali e bangles di tutti i tipi, maxi gioielli con perle anche oversized.
Per il trucco il make up director Peter Philips si è sempre ispirato alla pop art creando un trucco occhi che sembra la paletta di colori di un artista moderno. E se guardate attentamente le foto degli accessori vedete che lo smalto è rigorosamente ed esclusivamente nero, l'intramontabile Chanel Black Satin ! 

For accessories, the return of the backpack with logo sprayed as a graffiti, canvas bags with chain, mini silver leather purse with chain, clutch cases in plexi with maxi logo, bracelets and bangles of all kinds, big pearl jewelery even  oversized.
Make-up director Peter Philips has always been inspired by pop art creating eye make-up that looks like the color palette of a modern artist. And if you observe carefully the pics of the accessories you see that nail polish is strictly and exclusively black, timeless Chanel Black Satin !
