Kaleidoscope January

Dopo più di un anno di blogging, visto che io non pubblico  ne foto di outfit ne selfies, sempre più lettrici / lettori mi chiedono: "Ma tu come sei? Come ti vesti? Che accessori ti piacciono? Quali sono i prodotti di bellezza / i trucchi che preferisci? Ti piace la cucina italiana, il vino italiano? Cioè tu che sei dietro a questa BloggHer ... ma chi sei?" 
Allora trovate sicuramente risposte a queste legittime domande sulla mia pagina Facebook che vi segnalo *qui* e sulla quale sono abbastanza attiva,esuberante e vivace tutti i giorni. 
Ma per raccontarvi qualcosa in più ho deciso di rendere il caleidoscopio mensile un po' più personale, praticamente un recap del mese passato mostrandovi per esempio un trend che mi piace, un capo che ho acquistato, un prodotto che ho provato, un piatto che ho cucinato e tanto altro ancora ! 
E così facendo ho anche l'opportunità di proporre un po' di italian lifestyle alle mie lettrici / ai miei lettori in tutto il mondo !   

After more than one year of blogging, as I do not post nor outfit pics neither selfies, more and more readers ask me: "But how are you? How do you dress? What accessories do you like? What are the beauty products / the make-up you prefer? Do you like Italian food, Italian wine? That's to say .. you who are behind this BloggHer ... who are you?"
You can surely find answer to these legitimate questitions on my Facebook page that I point *here* and on which I'm quite active, exuberant and vivacious every day. :D
But to tell you something more about me, I decided to make the monthly kaleidoscope a little more personal, pretty more a recap of the past month, for example showing a trend I like, an item I bought, a beauty product I like, a tipical italian dish I have cooked and much more !
And in doing so I've also the opportunity to offer a bit of italian lifestyle to my readers all over the world !

Le recenti discussioni sugli ingredienti di alcuni prodotti cosmetici molto diffusi come il Labello mi hanno fatto riflettere a tal punto da trovare soluzioni nel mondo della cosmesi naturale. 

In questa stagione fredda per le labbra uso i stick labbra di Bottega Verde alla propoli ed all'olio di Argan con ottimo risultato. 

The recent discussions about ingredients of some widespread cosmetics so as Labello lipbalm made me think and find solutions in the world of natural cosmetics.
In this cold season for the lips I'm using the lipbalm sticks of Bottega Verde with propolis or Argan oil with excellent results. 

( Bottega Verde is an italian franchising, but you can find stores in Austria, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Serbia and about 20 stores in Russia !)

 

Prossimamente vorrei provare altri prodotti della linea con olio di Argan, soprattutto per il corpo.

Soon I would like to try other products with Argan oil, especially for the body.

 

Food and mood
A gennaio si trovano finalmente anche da noi qui al nord Italia le cime di rapa !

In January, you can finally find also here in north Italy cime di rapa --> turnip-tops, a typical vegetable from Puglia !

 

Io sono appassionata dei piatti classici tradizionali della cucina italiana ed uno dei miei primi preferiti sono proprio le orecchiette alle cime di rapa.

Ammetto però che io un po' di grana padano o parmigiano reggiano lo metto sopra, mentre in Puglia si mette al massimo un po' di pangrattato o pepe rosso ! 
  

I am passionate of the classic traditional italian dishes and one of my favorite first courses are orecchiette con cime di rapa --> orecchiette = the shape of the pasta reminds the one of a small ear, with turnip-tops and a condiment of olive oil, garlic, just a touch of peperoncino = chili pepper and anchovies.   
I admit, however, that I put above a bit of parmesan cheese, while in Puglia they use to put above at least a bit of bread crumbs or red pepper ! You should definitely try this dish when you come to Puglia region !
 

A gennaio arriva anche il tardivo, il mio radicchio preferito, più amabile e più pregiato.
In January you can also find the tardive Trevisano red chicory called tardivo, my favorite one because less bitter and more amiable and more selected than the common Trevisano red chicory. 

Io lo uso per fare risotto, con la pasta o con i gnocchetti, alla piastra oppure al forno.
Tardivo is absolutely fantastic to prepare first courses on base of pasta or risotto, but also grilled baked or oven baked.

Per il mio solito brunch del 1 gennaio ho scoperto un ottimo spumante, un Franciacorta DOCG Valentianus della Azienda Agricola Catturich Ducco di Passirano (BS). 
Da vitigni Chardonnay, Pinot Nero e Pinot Bianco, ideale per aperitivi, primi piatti, carni bianche e pesce, ha un profumo ed un gusto invitante ed ampio, ricco di fiori bianchi e frutta esotica, leggermente mandorlato e tostato, una particolarità degli spumanti Franciacorta che a me piace moltissimo ! 

For my usual brunch on 1st January, I discovered this well done spumante = sparkling vine Franciacorta DOCG Valentianus produced by Azienda Agricola Catturich Ducco in Passirano, Brescia aerea. 
Created from vine variety of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc, perfect for appetizers, first courses, white meat and fish, it has an inviting and expansive aroma and taste, full of white flowers and exotic fruits, with a light almond flavour and lightly toasted, a distinctive particolarity of the Franciacorta sparkling vines that I like very much !

Un trend già affermato per il 2014: bracciali rigidi detto anche bangles di tutti i tipi, metallici ed impreziositi con borchie, pietre o swarovski, ma anche con finto pitone o finto cavallino.
Sono follemente innamorata dei miei bangles leopardati di finto cavallino (no brand).

A trend already established for 2014: bangles of ll types, metallic and embellished with studs, stones or swarovski, but also with faux snakeskin or faux calf hair.

Concludiamo questo caleidoscopio di gennaio con qualche riflessione per la nuova rubrica "Route 66 50" che ci accompagnerà tutti i mesi fino a dicembre 2014 quando compierò finalmente 50 anni ! (perché 49 anni è una roba incredibilmente banale !)

We conclude this kaleidoscope of January with some reflections in the new column "Route 66 50" that will accompany us every month until December 2014 when I will finally become 50 years young ! (because 49 years is an incredibly trivial stuff !)

Karl did it again ... "Sportswear" Haute Couture Chanel SS 2014

"Scandalo alla corte di Francia !" :D
Karl Lagerfeld fa sfilare le sue modelle in scarpe da ginnastica, create appositamente per la collezione di Haute Couture ed in perfetto abbinamento con il vestito presentato. Gli addetti alla moda, buyer, giornalisti e fashion blogger protestano apertamente, gridano allo scandalo. E Kaiser Karl, con il suo solito humour inglese da tedesco del nord, risponde che percorrendo la storia della moda, dal 1800 al 1845 per esempio, le donne non portavano mica i tacchi, ma bensì scarpe basse abbinate ai loro vestiti da gran ballo. E prosegue che l'abbinamento di una scarpa bassa, sportiva ad un vestito non rigido ma flessibile nelle sue parti tra top, vita e gonna permette alla donna di muoversi liberamente con leggerezza. Ed è proprio la leggerezza che caratterizza questa collezione: Karl Lagerfeld riesce a togliere alla Haute Couture la pesantezza senza togliere l'eleganza e questa avantguardistica collezione si presenta con charme, con freschezza e con questa inimitabile leggerezza. Le modelle non sembrano neanche modelle ma fanciulle spensierate, si muovono senza il peso dell'occasione, rilassate e leggere. I tessuti invece sono sempre leggeri ma di altissima Haute Couture. 
Ci sarebbero centinaia di foto da postare ma mi devo limitare, mio malgrado, a mostrarvi più che altro qualche dettaglio. Vi invito anche a guardare il video che vi ho gentilmente postato sotto per capire l'atmosfera di questa sfilata che per me è indubbiamente una delle più belle mai viste !

Karl Lagerfeld sends his models on the catwalk in sneakers, created especially for the collection of Haute Couture and in perfect combination with the dresses. The operators in fashion, buyers, journalists and fashion bloggers are publicly protesting and cry scandal. And Kaiser Karl with his usual english humour of a north-german responds that along the history of fashion, from 1800 to 1845 for example, women did not wear heels at all, but flat shoes matched to their gran ball dresses. He continues that the combination of a flat sporting shoe, matched to a non-rigid but flexible dress in it's parts including top, waist and skirt allows a woman to move freely lightly. And it is exactly the lightness that characterizes this collection: Karl Lagerfeld is able to remove heaviness to Haute Couture without removing elegance and this avantguardistic collection comes with charm, with freshness and with this inimitable lightness. The models do not even seem models but lighthearted maidens, moving without the weight of the occasion, relax and lightly. The fabrics instead are always of the highest Haute Couture.There would be hundreds of pictures to post but I must limit myself, unfortunately, more than anything else to show some detail. I also invite you to watch the videos that I have kindly posted below to understand the atmosphere of this show that for me is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful I've ever seen !

Karl did it again ... THE Make Up Chanel Haute Couture SS 2014

E mentre noi eravamo qui a riflettere quale make up sarebbe stato en vogue per questa primavera/estate 2014, Karl Lagerfeld ha sfilato a Parigi con Chanel Haute Couture SS 2014 e ha fatto centro !
Oltre a provocare quasi uno scandalo nell'abbinare abiti di haute couture a scarpe sportive ha mostrato pettinature selvagge ed un make up di forte impatto: eyeliner nero marcato sulle ciglia superiori ed una linea altrettano marcata di glitter multicolor sotto le ciglia inferiori ! Per non togliere l'attenzione dagli occhi, incarnato naturale, un velo di blush e labbra nude. In giro di poche ore le immagini hanno fatto il giro del web e pertanto il giro del mondo. Indipendentemente dalle collezioni estive che lanceranno le case cosmetiche è stato chiaro immediatamente che quello di Chanel sarà LA tendenza per il make up primavera/estate 2014 ! 

And while we were here to reflect which make up would have been en vogue for this spring/summer 2014 Karl Lagerfeld has shown his fashion show of Chanel Haute Couture SS 2014 in Paris and hit it on the nail ! 
Apart from causing almost a scandal in combining haute couture clothing to sports shoes, he showed wild hairstyles and high-impact make-up: marked black eyeliner on the upper lash line and an as much marked line of multicolor glitter under the lower lash line ! In order not to take away attention from the eyes, natural rosy complexion, only a touch of blush blush and nude lips. In a few hours the images have been around the web and therefore around the world. Regardless of the summer collections that will be launched by the cosmetic brands it was immediately clear that this one of Chanel will be THE trend of make-up for the spring/summer 2014 !

Vi sento, belle donne ... "Ma questo è un make up da sfilata, impossibile portarlo nella vita quotidiana !" Invece in una versione più soft, con l'eyeliner nero meno marcato e solo un accenno di un eyeliner glitterato si può portare tranquillamente durante il giorno, per accentuarlo poi per la sera o per un'occasione speciale ! Fidatevi, osate and go bold or go home ! :D

I hear you, ladies ... "But this is a make up for the catwalk, impossibile to wear in everyday life !" Instead, in a softer version, with black eyeliner less marked and only a fine trace of glitter eyeliner you can wear it easily during the day and then accentuate for the evening or for a special occasion ! Trust, dare and go bold or go home ! :D

Prada Pre Fall Collection 2014 (Miuccia knows me well !)

E' il solito dilemma, donne: siamo ancora alle prese con i saldi invernali, non abbiamo ancora capito come dobbiamo vestirci in primavera / estate (almeno io ho la confusione universale !), quali saranno le borse e le scarpe da sfoggiare, con quali accessori dobbiamo addobbarci ... ed in tutto questo delirio arrivano le pre collezioni per l'autunno prossimo, disponibili già da giugno fino a settembre. Niente da fare donne, dobbiamo essere forti !   

It's the usual dilemma, ladies: we are still struggling with the winter sales, we have not yet figured out how we should dress in spring / summer (I have the universal confusion !), which are the bags and the shoes show off, with which accessories we should adorn us ... and in all this madness designers come out with the pre collections for next autumn, already available from june until september. Nothing to do ladies, we must stay strong !

La pre collezione autunno 2014 è talmente bella ... e poi sembra che la Signora Miuccia mi ha letto nel pensiero: i capi in pelle di tutti i colori, il ritorno del grosso grasso viola come solo Prada lo sa fare, la sciarpona tutta frou frou e le sciarpine piccoline a righe che sembrano fatte dalla nonna e ... rullo di tamburi ... il ritorno della scarpa con la punta quadrata ! Siete contente ? Come no ?! :D 

The pre fall 2014 collection is so beautiful ... and then it seems that Misses Miuccia reads my thoughts: leather items of all colors, the return of the big fat purple that only Prada knows just how to do, these long frou frou furry scarves and these tiny striped scarves that seem to be made by grandmother ... drum roll ... the return of square-toed shoes ! Are you happy ? Why not ?! :D

Io sono entusiasta: fantastici colori e fantastici accostamenti, una collezione fatta per l'inizio dell'autunno estremamente portabile e versatile. Dimentichiamo per un momento che si tratta di Prada e che anche il mio contocorrente ha già detto "No, no, no !", dalla collezione si possono prendere tantissimi spunti per l'abbinamento di colori e materiali.
Io per esempio ho una borsa a tracolla rossa che non porto spesso ma che posso abbinare benissimo a qualche caldo colore autunnale.
Io per esempio mi sono fatta furba visto che comunque a distanza di anni tutti i trend tornano: non ho buttato via neanche una scarpa con la punta quadrata, le ho tenute tutte ! Miuccia, sono pronta ad accettare la sfida ! 
Io per esempio, dopo tantissimi anni, tirerò fuori i ferri per farmi una di queste piccole sciarpine a righe come nella seconda foto. Anzì, per voi donne potrei andare anche subito in produzione ! :D 

It's entusiastic: fantastic colors and fantastic matching, a collection made for the beginning of autumn extremely portable and versatile. Let's forget for a moment that it is Prada and that also my bank account has already said "No, no, no!", we can take a lot of inspiration for matching colors and materials from this collection. 
For example, I have a red shoulder bag that I do not wear often but I could match it well with some warm autumn color.
For example, I got wise because of the fact that after a few years every trend returns: I have not thrown away even one pair of squared-toed shoes, I kept them all ! Miuccia, I am ready to accept the challenge !
For example, after many years I'll pull out my knitting needles to get me one of these small striped scarves as in the second pic. Indeed, for you ladies I could even go into production soon ! : D
